The purpose of this policy is to clearly disclose who we are and what steps we are taking to ensure your privacy.

We are “The Ant Blog – Ants In My House”, our website address is: https://antsinmyhouse.com, we use HTTPS security measures for your protection and our server is located in the United States. We are owned and managed by Mike Benny, who is just a regular guy who lives in Canada and blogs about ants.

What personal data do we collect and why?

We collect some personal information in our contact forms (see “Contact form”), however none of that information is stored on this site or offered to any third party.

This website is advertiser supported and our advertisers use cookies to track and support their ad campaigns (see “Google Ads”).

This website also uses Google Analytics to measure viewership, Google uses cookies to track user activity on our site (see “Google Analytics”).

Contact form

The contact information included in the contact form is not stored on this website. The submitted data is sent via email to the owner and is only used for communication between the user and the owner (if contact is requested by the user). The email sent to the owner includes only the information offered by the user.


Our comments are managed using the Disqus online public comment sharing platform [here].  Disqus does collect some personal data and does use cookies to manage it’s users. This information is clearly expressed in their Privacy Policy.
